Originally from the charming town of Eugene, OR, my journey led me to the breathtaking mountain haven of Telluride in 2000. There, I began my career in property management, working for the town’s once-largest company, before transitioning to a thriving career in real estate.
Owning a luxury chalet or mountain retreat in one of the world’s top ski resorts affords an unparalleled lifestyle of “high-altitude” recreation during the ski season and beyond. These homes often become what many refer to as a “legacy property” creating memories for generations of family and friends. Telluride offers world-class recreation and amenities to suit all interests and age groups: from downhill and Nordic skiing, sleigh rides, golf, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting and excellent fishing.
Telluride offers a different pace of life and is a sanctuary for those of us that enjoy disconnecting and being able to live in the moment. I moved here in September of 2000 from Portland, Oregon where I worked at Oregon Health Sciences University while studying for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. With a lot of convincing from old friends, I decided to take a break from my career path and visit Telluride to learn how to ski for the winter. Little did I know that I would also find an environment so full of adventure, activity, travel, and personalities. Instantly falling in love with the town, community, and surroundings I quickly became another local that “came for the winter and stayed for the summer!”
Since my arrival, I have been involved in property management, short and long term rentals, research analyst for a pan-Asia private equity company, Mountain Village developments, and Luxury Real Estate. As a Realtor, my main focus is to provide the highest level of knowledge, insight, and service. I am dedicated to helping people find exceptional properties for extraordinary lifestyles.
Community service is a big part of who I am. I love giving back to and connecting with the community as a One to One Mentor and Telluride Lizard Head Ice Hockey coach. I also spend time as a San Miguel Resource Center Advocate and Senior Luncheon volunteer, among other things. From 2006 to 2011 I served on the Telluride Board of Realtors with roles ranging from President to MLS Director and sat on multiple committees at the state level as well. My mission was to enhance member benefits, which I believed would, in turn, lead to more satisfied property buyers and sellers. Also, I feel it is very important to enhance our brokers’ small businesses and help nurture and build a certain level of professionalism.
